Frequently Asked Questions

What is an original artwork?

An original artwork is a hand-drawn or hand-painted piece by me, Bonnie Zhou. It will always be created using high-quality archival materials, varnished, and hand-signed. As owner of the copyright, I reserve the right to sell printed reproductions of these original works.

What is a giclée art print?

A giclée art print is made through a modern printmaking process in which prints are produced on a special large-format printer in extremely high resolution to give as close as possible a reproduction of the precise colours and strokes of the original work. The giclée process offers the highest-quality reproduction available.

All of my giclée prints are archival and museum quality, printed on 250gsm Awagami Bamboo fine art paper, made from renewable PH neutral materials including Kozo (mulberry), Mitsumata, bamboo, and hemp.
