Inspired by the song "Free" by 6LACK, this piece reflects on toxic relationships and feeling trapped. Even after breaking free of such relationship, there is a residual turmoil that results in a temporary numbness, a sense of apathy in the midst of a storm. A period of darkness before the light comes, which requires introspection and emotional healing to overcome.
